Who can raft? Almost everybody other than pregnant ladies, heart patients and people with severe asthma. Children between 12 & 14 may be permitted to raft subject to a safety clearance from our river guides. Children below 12 years will not be allowed to raft. Our river guide’s decision in this regard will be final. Children below 12 years are not allowed to raft.

What to bring?
T Shirts, shorts and sport shoes or floaters for rafting.
A change of dry clothes and a towel.
Light warm clothes in case you are camping with us.




NOTE:
Rafting on the river is dependent upon water being released from the Mulshi and Bhira Dams.
The Resort will not be held responsible for last minute cancellation of rafting due to water conditions.
The Resort will make a 100% refund for un utilized services only in case rafting is cancelled at the last moment due to water conditions.

1. One Day Picnic to Bordi Beach - 5 July 2009

Dear Friends,
Pugmarks - The Nature Club invites you to join us on a one day trip (Picnic) for a monsoon outing to Bordi Beach, Gujarat.


Winding roads fringed by the sea on one side, tall palms swaying in the salty breeze, small and big houses fronted with lawns, glimpses of educational institutions, lazy pedallers on their bicycles riding alone or with a pillion, freindly and curious children watching you drive by... a quite sea-side hamlet....that is Bordi.

It is 02 kms away from Gholvad Railway Station. Gholvad is the next stop from Dahanu Railway station.

The ideal weekend getaway for harried, hassled, nerves-at-breaking-point people and the hoi polloi, Bordi is just 140 kms from Mumbai. A haven of unspoilt beach, orchards heavy with chickoo fruits and miles of winding road waiting expectantly to be explored, Bordi has hitherto remained untouched by the greedy hands of commerce.

You can soak in its serenity and send a silent prayer that there are still places like this to go to and retire on a weekend. Hallelujah!

A local bazaar busy with women selling all kinds of wares thrown up by the sea, a "beach resort" here, a bhel puri house there, colleges for women, engineering institutions, a railway crossing here and Adivasi women there, Bordi is a blend of the halcyon days and the modern....but not too modern that you shun it.

We will be going to Bordi for a 1 (one) day picnic on 05 July 2009.

Bus will start @ 6:15 am from Ghatkopar East on M.G Road.

Bus will start return journey from Bordi @ 6:00 pm.

Last drop will be Vidyavihar railway Station on central railway.

Total Cost per person = Rs.750/-

Children below 2 years will be complimentary.

You can choose to travel yourself from mumbai to bordi.
You will save Rs.100/- per person if you choose to travel yourself.
